The Company is looking for up to £1.5m to fund the implementation of current contracts and to exploit UK and international interest in its products. Currently Virgin, Nike, Youtube, Amazon, Paramount, Warner Bros, etc. have all shown interest. The company, (forecasted sales 2009 of around £7m), is a designer, manufacturer and supplier of niche communication products. It has 4 main divisions; 1) Mobile – designs, manufactures and markets consumer electronic products, including bespoke phones; 2) Energy – in conjunction with a large UK Utility company has developed a remote smart meter and an in home energy display meter for monitoring domestic energy consumption. It has been contracted to design, develop and manufacture 1.5 million new units in the first 12 months and 5 million units over 3 years ; 3) Medical - In conjunction with the NHS and one of the London hospitals it is designing and developing a mobile handset for use in hospitals which is resistant to infections like MRSA. 4) Solutions - Designs and manufactures bespoke mobile phone accessories on a unique mobile platform.
The company has a particularly strong management team from companies like Motorola, Vodafone, Kingston Communications, Carphone Warehouse, Orange and Ericsson.
In addition, any investment would also benefit from being made as part of a package with the Partnership portfolio companies, whereby the investor could also receive up to 2x his investment from part of the sale proceeds of other IP portfolio firms – subject to contracts, terms and conditions etc.
